Meet Arash @jj_editor_arashrimus_. Yes! A newbie! Welcome to third generation of #jj_editors! This interview is to me for several reasons. Arash and I have something in common. We were the first editor’s interview from our generation! I still remember when @kimmygibbler asked me for my email and I thought I was fired or something! Hopefully that wasn’t the reason. Another reason I’m excited about this interview is that I’ve come to meet a true JJ spirit in Arash. Always connecting with everyone.
What about his skills as an editor? Very simple. Arash is a “killer” finder, always featuring the most awesome images of the daily forums. @arashrimus is Persian! Forgive me “Cali bunch” editors, but isn’t it exciting to have one of our editors in the eastern part of the globe? ;-) Arash found instagram reading somewhere about top suggested apps for photo sharing. This was 80 weeks ago, and got to know @joshjohnson through IG’s explore tab.
Let’s talk about photography. It all began when Arash was just 5 years old. He used to fool around with his grandpa’s camera until his father realized that maybe it was time to buy that kid one of his own. So… Guess what Arash does for a living? Right! He’s been a professional photographer since 2006. He loves any kind of photography, though he mainly shoots documentary and street photography. He must be doing it great, he has received over 15 domestic photography awards He also works freelance for several publications. He’s a mobile photography lover, and I love that!
What about family, children, pets and all that? No children yet, though he would love to have twins someday (you don’t know what you’re saying, man…). ;-) In the meantime he cares for a goldfish named Florence. Another interesting fact. His favorite super hero and someone he would like to meet one of these days. Yes, Josh Johnson. A super hero with the power to connect. 10 points for you, man!
Sports. Arash is a sports man like me. He loves traveling, cars, cell phones, music and TV series. He’s an editor that describes himself in one word “human” and he would name his biography as “the unexpected life of mine”. A person for whom what goes around comes around. And in my opinion, he’s a guy that everyone would love to have as a friend.
So what are you waiting for? Drop by his personal account @arashrimus and say hello! There are lot of things you still don’t know about our first third generation editor. Thanks for all you’re doing for our community, Arash. Keep it up with your awesome features.
